He and his team create spaces focused on a modern design aesthetic that appreciates clean lines, simplicity and integrity of materials. The work has been described as calming, tailored, timeless and inviting. The projects are often a study in opposites: old and new, global and local, primitive and sophisticated, casual and elegant, simple and complex and bold and subtle. When appropriate, antiques are added in his modern environments giving each space its own sense of history.
