Joscelyn Himes Textiles, a Kansas City-based studio, is inspired by Shibori, the ancient Japanese art of tying, stitching, twisting and/or manipulating the fabrics to create patterns during the dyeing process. Her pillows celebrate the precision patterning of Shibori tying methods with compelling color sensibility. Each pillow is hand-made with silk charmuese and includes a down-filled pillow insert. The face is in a gold color with carmel-colored Kumo Dots (spider web design) and the back is a carmel-colored velvet with channel stitching. Dry Clean only. Size: 18" x 18"
